to blast into my bedroom at 3 am. Nothing like leaping out of bed because the room lit up with white light the same time as the house shook and sounded like it exploded.
Mother Nature decided to throw a royal tantrum, a big time Summer type Thunderstorm in January. She had the audacity to keep throwing that fit for more than an hour. Spitting lightening bolts, roaring wind. driving rain and explosive thundering crashes.
I love storms but not at 3am. I only sleep soundly for 4 hours a night, suffice it to say it's not wise to wake me during those 4 hours .I despise losing an hour of sleep. I want storms during the daylight hours, and in the right season please, when I can watch them come in over the Lake, hear the rumbling of thunder when the sky is still blue. Watch the dark boiling clouds creep their way in towards land and THEN have the explosion and light show.
Our 12 inches of pretty white fluffy snow that we only had for two days to play in was gone when she left. The temps are falling again and all the tears she left behind will be ice puddles.
Now where is my Blizzard? I'm ready for a Snow me in for a week, pile up the drifts type "SNOW" Storm.
Mother Nature needs her GPS adjusted. Anyone willing to take her on?
